Titanium Grade 5 Round Bar is made up of a titanium alloy that has aluminum and vanadium as additions in the composition. The material has very high corrosion resistance properties and this is the most used grade of titanium alloys. The composition has 90% titanium with carbon, iron, oxygen and 6% aluminum with 4% vanadium. This material composition gives the products 950MPa minimum tensile strength and 880MPa minimum yield strength. The specification for this grade is ASTM B348.

The ASTM B348 Gr 5 Rod also has a very high melting point of 1662 degrees Celsius. The dimensions vary according to the EN, DIN, JIS, ASTM, BS, ASME and AISI standards. The width of the bars ranges from 5mm to 500mm, the diameter ranges from 0.1mm to 100mm and the length ranges from 100mm to 3000mm and custom lengths as well. The Grade 5 Titanium Flat Bar and others can have black, bright, rough turned and many other types of finishes. There are also other forms such as hexagon and square rods and bars.
