The stiffness effect of molybdenum and niobium on the nickel-chromium matrix gives Inconel 625 plate its strength; hence, precipitation-hardening treatments are not necessary. This mixture of elements is often responsible for excellent resistance to a broad variety of unusually harsh corrosive conditions, as well as high-temperature symptoms such as oxidation and carburization. The properties of Inconel plate that render it appealing to the aerospace industry include high tensile, creep, and rupture strength; exceptional fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength; oxidation resistance; and excellent weldability and brazeability.
Inconel 625 sheets, also known as Nickel Alloy 625 sheets, are nickel-based and can withstand temperatures ranging from cryogenic extreme freezes to 1000 degrees Celsius/2000 degrees Fahrenheit. They are nickel-based and use columbium and molybdenum as refractory metals. ASTM B443 UNS N06625 Strip has a minimum yield strength of 430MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 940MPa due to the nickel chromium framework, molybdenum material, and strong solution strengthening.
These materials also have a strong magnetic permeability of 1.0006 and a melting temperature range of 1280 -1350 degrees Celsius. WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4856, UNS N06625, JIS NCF 625 Foil, BS NA 21, GOST 75, etc. are the grades of Inconel Alloy 625 sheets, plates, and coils. Inconel 625 plate specifications are sheet/plate ASME SB-443 / AMS 5599 / AMS 5869. Inconel DIN 2.4856 Slitting Coils are mainly used in the marine industry and offshore oil drilling companies. Inconel alloy 625 coils are frequently used in heat exchangers and condensers.
